What this series measures
Two things, on a fixed schedule: the financing inputs that drive a CMHC MLI Select underwrite (the Canada Mortgage Bond 5-year yield the rate is priced from, and the CMHC premium and amortization terms) and the market inputs (CMHC Rental Market Survey vacancy and rents for the zones we underwrite).
Quarterly issues
The first quarterly issue is in preparation. The methodology is published in advance so the series can be evaluated before its first figures appear.
